Options Talent CEO Mark Tolner, and his associates, had a criminal past. The New York State Consumer Protection Board did issue a consumer alert about their practices.

He called it the Trans Continental Airlines Employee Investment Savings Account (EISA).  They put their money into this account because it was offering a good interest rate (6.08% at the time), and it was FDIC insured (allegedly).

On July 11, 2007 at a bond hearing, the Judge set a September 4, 2007 trial date in Federal Court for Pearlman on the bank fraud charges
