Gannon had no history, no journalistic credentials, and no training whatsoever.  He immediately jumped to the 'Front of the line', guiding press conferences to focus on Bush's agendas.

"Rumors" of Bush's College Years Makes These Revelations Explosive

Bush as a young man supposedly experimented with marijuana, cocaine, and alcohol. Bush was a college cheerleader, and according to Kitty Kelly his nickname was "The Fabulous Mr. Lips", for his habit of performing oral sex on men.

Rumors flew about Bush and  Ashe, who were both male cheerleaders, college roommates and members in the Skull and Bone Society. Also mentioned was an Anthony Berusca.
